Announcements

Show and Tell: Please Bring in an item that begins with or has the long u sound in the
middle. (ex: tube, blue, cube, unicorn, mule, etc.)

Name Practice: Does your child know how to spell their first and last name correctly? Can they

write it correctly? Please practice this with your child. This is a report card skill that many still
struggle with.
Kindergarten Celebration! is on May 12th at 8:15 in the Adams Elementary cafeteria. You are

invited to join your child to celebrate their accomplishments for this school year. Each child will
have awards and school work to share with you that shows how much they have learned this
year. Please feel free to bring family to share in this special event.
Fast Flash Walk/Run: Saturday, May 14 at 8:00 am is the 23rd annual fitness event. All students

who participate earn a finishers medal! If you need more information, contact Miss Roberts at
amy.roberts@ftcsc.k12.in.us or 860-4282. You can also register online at www.iwant2run.com.

Field Day! Kindergarten will be participating in Field Day on May 126 from 1:00-3:00. It is
important that your child wear appropriate clothing and shoes for this outside activity.
