fiction piece is due at the beginning of the period on
Wednesday, while the visual component will be turned in at

Friday: Socratic dialogue with notes, The Old Man and the
Sea (pages 43 84) due.
Learning Target: Students will show understanding of
the elements of fiction by generating an original work of
fiction.
