Dignity Project

Objective:
To provide students with the opportunity to explore the five dignity principles, examine issues
related to dignity,research,suggest solution and create awareness of Global Dignity in their
community and wider world.
Class :V orange .
No of student: 22
Initially in groups students explored five principles of dignity .During group discussion they explored
key words and made an effort to relate it with their surroundings therefore they had the clear picture in
their minds what do these key words mean.
While working on the google doc they jotted their understanding which further lead them to the clarity
in their thoughts.
Many students decided to interview and work on the people who are actually working on these principle
and leading dignified life. They interviewed them and shared their videos .
During their skype session with partner school ____________ they communicated their learning
outcomes with them
Once they had clear vision they were able to construct their dignity stories based on the allocated
principle , they highlighted different issues and provided effective remedy .Even one of the child shared
her feelings by knitting the story how India is hurting the dignity of Kashmiris. On the student wrote
how bulling of others hurt her feelings and how her ego hinders in developing amicable relations with
others
Project initiated and then inculcated the value of empathy, amity and benevolence while living in real
life situation .
