A) Issuing Authority: —_ a) In case of district except Kolkata the Competent authority is District Magistrate/Addl. istrict Magistrate/Sub Divisional Officer of the respective district b)In case of Kolkata, Asstt, Secretary, Home (Political) Deptt. Writers’ Buildings, Kolkata-700001 issues such a certificate. B) Why required : For Recruitment Rally in Army Authority / Para-military services/admission to Sainik School, Purulia/Joint Fntraaice Exams, West Bengal, for other than state/other specific services in amy. ©) Eligibility Staying in this State continuously for 15 years or more. Relaxation of norms in cases of transferable jobs in Central Govt/State Govt. Employees’ wards. D) Documents to be required & for Verification : i) Birth Certificated 2copies) issued by competer (auth rity ji) Primary, Secondary School/College Certificates issues by the Head of the Institution mentioning classes and yea of studies (2 copies). iii) Documentary proof of father’s/own occupation if any iv) Documentary proof to show own house/rented house/Official quarter for residential status (2 copies). v) Copy of call ietter from army Para-military forces/admission louer from Sainik School, Purulia where the same is sought for (2 copies). vi) Copy of Ration Card/PIC (2 copies) vii) Passport size photographs (3 copies) uttested by any Group-A Officers of Central/ State Govt. on the back side cof the same.BE) Verification Process: i) Verify the genuineness of the Birth Certificate from the issuing authority, viz from = K.M.C/Municipal Authority/Panchayat ii) Verify the genuineness of the School Certificate from the respective School Authority. iii) Antecedentary report in favour of the applicant sought from Dy. Commissioner of Police, Special Branch(Kol).
