This lesson is the third lesson of the unite 7: matter- how the matter can change?. This lesson is a continues
for the last lesson. They will learn how the solid are change to the liquid by doing an interesting experiment.

Teaching goal (State clearly what it is you plan to teach in this lesson

The overall aim of the lesson is to teach about how the matter can change from solid to liquid by doing the
orange experiment.

Learning objectives (State clearly exactly what you want the ss to be able to do by the end of
the lesson.

- Students will be able to explain how the matter can change from solid to liquid.

Assumptions about prior learning (Mention what the ss know from previous lessons or their
experience eg The learners will have encountered or be familiar with or aware of...)

The students already know the state of matter.


The students already know that the orange is one example of the solid.
The students already know that the juice is one example of the liquid.

Anticipated problems and possible solutions (Mention problems and solutions related to
management, tasks or students

1) Problem: some learners have difficult to do the experiment.


Solution : the teacher will help them.

2) Problem : some learners want to participate in the revision Activity


Solution: the teacher will tell them that all of them will participate in this class.
Personal focus for this lesson (Based on your previous observed lesson, identify one or two
aspects that need improving. Eg. be more animated, monitor children more closely, provide
more challenging tasks etc)

In this lesson I will focus on the time. That means I have just 40 minute to deliver my lesson.
In this lesson I will focus to give them more interesting activity to be an attractive lesson.

At the beginning of the lesson the teacher will remember with them the rules of their class. The
rules of the class is ( looking eyes, listening ears, quite mouth and helping hands).

Then, the teacher will do for them a revision about the state of matter ( liquid, solid and gas) by
ask them a several question by using family member cards.

T: who is he?? Zayed.


Zayed is 7 years old. He sit with his family " father, Mather, sister, brother and baby". All of them
have some question about state of matter. They want from you to help them to answer the
question.
Each group will help just one person from zayed's family..
Okey, who will participate from this group.
S: Asma
T: Asma, you will help who ?
S: father?
T: answer the father question. Father's question is " pencil is one example of "

T: excellent Asma. This is a reward from Zayed's father.

The teacher will complete until each group participate in this revision activity.

When they finish, the teacher will show them a video about change the matter which is about 4
minute.

This is the revision questions

Explore

the teacher will ask students to work with their group to do the experiment.
The teacher will give to each group " plate, cup, orange, tissue, orange machine" after she told
them the instructions.

The teacher will show them how to do it in front of them step by step and the students will do
it.

Instructions is :
Hold the piece of orange in your hand.
Put it above of the orange machince.
Do it like this.
When you finish.
Move the orange juice to the cup.
" is it clear, now do it.. I will move around you .. if you have any question raise your hand"

Explain

When they finish, the teacher will explain for them how the orange change to orange juice
by using white board and marker.

Elaborate

The teacher will show them a selfy board and will ask them to take their selfy picture with
they did something that represent the change of matter.

For example: cutting paper, make a balloon

Evaluate

At the end of the lesson, the teacher will give to each group a white card with color.
She will ask them a draw something that they learn from today lesson.
In addition, during the student doing the experiment the teacher will evaluate them by
asking them a question and using a checklist card.
