Reflection for English lesson (u vowel)

In this lesson, I start with welcoming the student and chose a little teacher to do
colander and another student to read our theme, concept, and color. Then
remember the classroom rules, let all students tell the rules together.

That helps student to do their original routine and student participate with
me.

After that, student starts to sing the theme song for the season with acting each
season.

Students were happy and interest when they doing the movement (how
the leaves fall, feeling in the summer and winter) that make them to be
active in begin of the lesson. It has a positive effect to lets student uses
their energy and power.

Let the student discover the lesson by show them pictures in the PowerPoint.

This activity lets the student to discover and using their cognitive,
imagination and memorizes to discover and answer so that develops their
thinking skills.

I used puppet (horsey) for Noor, it is a student shes intellectual disability


delayed.

This ttechnique help her to count and repeat after the horsey the vowels.

Complete the mind map, students answering and write the family words.

The high and medium student can answer and participate while low level
after student finish writing the went to groups, in each group I gave them
flash cards that include pictures I shoes low-level student to come and put
the picture to the words that relate to it or present it. That gives all student
right to participate to do the activities in the classroom.

Simple story about the (broken egg).

The goal for this activity is student read the word then matched with
specific picture that relate with words. However I should bring real
materials for student like egg that help the imagination to complete the
story and know the event so if I do it in next time I should did not forget
this point.

Differentiation activity:
For Low level (they did puzzle activity)

students identify words and picture that relate with u vowel by organizing
the puzzle. Student fell interst and I walk around them to ask them some
qustion that realt with picture in the puzzle.

High-level makes ice cream for (U) and (A-E-O-I)vowels.

Student classify the picture that includes letter u in (u) ice cream while
other in (A-E-O-I) ice cream. I make mistake the student was fiting and
angry with each other because it is group work and student should work
togather, some of them did not shair the game or activity. In next time I do
it induvidually or teach the shair values.

Medium level they did a challenge activity by putting 6 pictures on the boards
and make 2 line and give the first student in each line stick to point the picture
that teacher describe it.

this activity make callenge between the student and learn with each other
if the did not know the answer.

Spicail need student do the bascket activity (Noor)

shes recognize between to letter u and o, so she put balls in right


basket.this type of student we shoukd use simple and baby play or activity
because shes mentaily age is 3 so it was differentclt to use like regular
activity.

I exchanged the activity when they student finished the basic activity.

In next lesson or in future I should do not exchange the activities in


differentiation because it is related with special capabilities so it is difficult
for low level to do the high level activity.

I let student give me the example for u words.

I gave the student who participates with me smile face sticker to engage
other student to be active and interact with lesson.

Reflection for math 1 lesson (adding 10)

I taught the student in this day math subject (adding 10). I start with routine:
greeting, little teacher, calendar and rules. After the routine, I did with student
numbers song.

The song includes some movement by singing and acting by follow the
children in the video. That makes them active and ready to begin the
lesson.

Start with challenge game between three students who order the numbers from
one to ten by using magnates number and put it in the board.

It was the most activity work with student and I have a positive result the
make student to be a challenge between each other. Student were happy
and interest, I learn this strategies from my teacher she use interest warmup for each lesson.

Story: (simple story for student that include many things such as (counting,
adding, colors and guessing).

Students did well and answer the question that relate with story but I
should ask and discuss with them about real life example. For example
count the materials in the classroom.

Differentiations activity the activity for 3 different level it is same idea but there is
a sight different depending on the student capabilities:
1. Low level, flash cards include many adding question and cubes.

Student complete mathematical calculations like(5+4=) so student use


cube to help them to abstract the number by using the cubes then write
the answer in the cards. This activity is good and easier for low level they
play and learn in same time and it was suitable for their abilities.

2. Medium level, flash cards that include adding question by using board that
include model of the hand.

Student in this stage or level they did mathematical calculations (10


+..=) that help them to count by using the finger in the hands, there
were happy and enjoy the hand model and I will do it in next Tp.

3. High level, they sticks game

In this stage student adding 20 by using different color of the stick.

4. Special need student: However hyperactive students (Ali & Ahmad can
do same activity with regular student. While intellectual disability Noor I
make for her physical activity especially fine motor skills for adding and
counting the balls ( two cups pasted in the paper ,she can put balls in first
cup and count then she put also and second cup ,finally she count all balls
that she put in both cups to know the result. Because shes intellectual
disability (delay), I make for her physical activity in easily way.
In my future lesson I should use discussing method with student in the lesson not
only give them the lesson and doing the activities because discussing with
student help teacher to know their background information and knowledge.

Reflection for Sciences1 lesson (senses)


In this lesson, I make the review for the student about senses because it was
reviewing week so students are ready for the exam. After I greet the student and
make colander I start to ask them question what do we use to hear, to see, to
taste, feel and smell? For this way, the student knows the lesson about the
senses. I using simple mind map that includes all sense and discusses with a
student about them to know the student knowledge or background. Then move to
True & false game in the PowerPoint student recognize if the sentence is wrong
or right by point the right symbol that presents their answer. It is the first time
they use this type of the activity so the student happy and they went to
participate. Raise your stick activity, each student chose one stick that present
one of the senses, I have the box that includes different item so when I show the
for example ball student whos have to stick of (touching= feeling) they raise it.
This activity shows that student recognizes between the senses. Finally, start
with differentiation activity for this time low level do classify, medium level making
2 line teacher chose the leader for this activity ,she said to point the picture that
we use hearing sense so two first student in each line point the picture the linked
with leader question. Student feel challenging and include movement because
they run and point. High level they play in (outdoor) balcony of the class to do the
activity because the place is big and the activity include jumping. Student feels
happy and it is out of the routine they just eating in balcony. The teacher was
very happy about the activity because I used different type of it. When I did
jumping activity in outdoor student feel happy to change the place so that help to
have a desire to learn.

For the lesson plan I do it with myself I am take topic or the title of the lesson
from my teacher and discuss with her about the activity I went to do if its improve
student knowledge and talk about the student abilities and levels. I make my own
learning outcome and chose activity that include physical skills that engorge the
student to participate and interact with lesson. I think that type of the activities
have an important role In support of the lesson deliver information to the child,
indirectly. My lesson plan is developed in terms of goals and how to achieve
them, and also the quality of activities that contain a lot development in different
skills. I this day I saw that student like to do physical activity in groups that make
them be challenged among themselves, be wiener and learn with each other. In
addition give the student chance to be leader to develop self-teem and good
experiment to try it.

Reflection for science lesson (fruit and vegetable)


In this time I taught the student vegetable and fruit lesson for them. I did happy
teeth and sad teeth activity for student so they classify the pictures of food to
health unhealthy teeth and whole classes have a chance to participate. Then I
did hiding activity; student discovers the picture by ordering the pic of papers
from number 1 to 10 to know the type of the food and if it healthy or unhealthy.
Using PowerPoint that includes 3 different idea of the activity that let student to
interest and participate I use three different level of idea from easier to difficult. I
chose art and make food activity, I did well when I chose Art activities for them
because in this activity student learn more about the fruit and vegetable and the
colors for them. for example: in painting activity they identify the fruit they used
and the color and shape for them while another activity food activity student
know the kinds of vegetable they used for sandwich like olives , cucumber
,carrot, tomato, slice bread so they learn shapes and color.Student feels happy
about the activity because I used different style of activities for one lesson.
Overall I feel comfortable even I cannot manage the student in some activity that
include movement and groups activity. Student interacts with lesson, they
participate with all activities so that make me to think that student like and
interest with it. Whoever my Mst help me will student did art activity.

Reflection for math 2 lesson (adding 10)

As usual I start with daily routine, then put for the student video that include many
movement to make them active begin of the lesson.

The technology in the school had problem some time it doesnt work so
when I open the video for the student to sing and follow the movement I
surprise that the computer have problem so I complete it with my own so
in next lesson I should do extra activity or make B plan for emergency.

Simple story about farmer by PowerPoint, student can do many activity


mathematical calculations.

This activity was go well and student were happy about it, I create the
story and relate it with them (jobs) and used farmer character for this
story. Student help him to count how many type of animal he have and
how many there are, count how many orange he picked. So this activity
includes different ideas like counting, adding, color, shapes. In addition
talk a little pet about the farmer do and where he lives.

Differentiation activities:
Low level: did water drops activity.
Medium level: they use play dough.
High level: popcorn activity by using different color of small pic of papers to
complete mathematical calculations.

Each activity I used was related with different ability of student.

Reflection for English 2 lesson (ck digraph)

I teach them Ck digraph words. I started with routine and start the lesson
with lets the student to discover the lesson by put for them video that
include different picture and sound for the word. Then I stick different
pictures of (stick, snack, black, clock, duck, socks, neck, truck, chick, lock)
in white board so the student came and make circle for ck digraph in each
picture. Group activity (Ck egg) by complete the other half of egg to identify
each ck words with pictures that relate with it. Finally, make review in
circle time about the digraphs the learn (sh, ii ,ck) and give example for
each of them.

Because in this day was short time I didnt have enough time to do the
differentiation activities. student like the ck egg they try to find another half
of the egg so that make them to identify the pictures and words in each
egg.
