Today we are going to talk about
complaints. Then we will learn how to
make apologies, as well as how to make
requests.

Usually after complaining, we often make
request.
What is request?
Making request means you want somebody
else to do something for you.

*Ask somebody to tell you the time.
*Ask someone to take you to the airport.
What do you usually say to that person?
Will you ask him or her directly to offer you
the help?
You can use please, grateful, appreciate to
make a request more politely.
2.2. During Stage:
In the following box, we practice making
requests using phrasal verbs.
Use phrasal verbs to request action.
