A series of statics, rotations, locomotion, springs and landings will be
depicted on cards and set up at a station around the available space
Students are to be divided into even groups and move from station to
station revising the previously learnt gymnastics skills

Compose a gymnastics sequence that


includes all 5 learnt DMPs in response
to a piece of music
Adopt roles within the team that support
and enhance team cohesion and lead to
a successful performance

Performance Practice
Students are allocated groups of 4
Students must create a performance of gymnastic DMPs that have been
previously taught in the last 5 weeks
The performance must go for a minimum of 1 minute and must include
demonstrations of all 5 DMPs taught by each individual
Every student must be involved and participate

Teacher to give constant assistance and help

Students may incorporate props or equipment into their


performance

Performance Delivery
At the end of the 20 minutes allocated to practicing and composing a
performance students must perform the performance to the class
The class must try and identify the different DMPs involved in the
performance and provide both positive and constructive feedback

Have non-participants help groups, judge final activity or run


stretching session- create series of stretches

Smaller groups increases maximum participation
