I would like to state that as you are working in an organization, hopefully you
should have known the term subordination which is needed at the workplace.
Before going to your insubordination behavior you should know that dignity at
work should at least imply the ability to establish a sense of self-worth and selfrespect and to appreciate the respect of others. If we are denied dignity and
autonomy, there will be a strong tendency for us to resist our working conditions.

As you have directly informed to GM of the company, about the above matter, this
is known as insubordination behavior. I.e. disregard the chain of command, shown
by going around the immediate supervisor or manager with a complaint,
suggestion or political maneuver. Kindly avoid contemptuous display of disrespect
and portraying these feelings while on the job.
