To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing on behalf of Miss Analiese Synder, senior at Western High School. I have the
pleasure of teaching Analiese in the elective social science course of psychology. Analieses
work ethic, determination for learning and understanding new material, as well as her creativity
makes Analiese a student for which all teachers enjoy teaching.
The work ethic I observe from Analiese is nothing short of phenomenal. She consistently enters
our classroom prepared and understands learning takes work and she is willing and capable of
completing her tasks.
In addition to work ethic, Analieses determination for learning and comprehending the material
taught is impressive. For example, in psychology while learning about personality types,
Analiese analyzed the Myers-Briggs test to fully gain knowledge for the unit.
Analieses work ethic and determination is demonstrated when she combines her talents in
creativity. One moment comes to mind when Analiese was given the assignment of Building
her Brain. She was to create a visual which labeled all parts of the brain and their functions.
Analiese chose to create a flip book in which she cut each brain structure out to demonstrate its
complexities; in my 15 years of teaching, her brain project was the most impressive! Her user
friendly brain adorned our classroom and was discussed by her inspired classmates.
As an overachiever, Analiese stays on top of her studies and completes all tasks placed in front
of her. With such a high intrinsic goal of perfection, Analiese has learned to deal with stress and
manage those situations. She continues to be a star student and I am confident she will achieve
success not only academically, but in all aspects of life.
I am honored to be a part of Analieses learning each day and challenge her to go above and
beyond. Analieses work ethic, dedication and motivation to succeed, in conjunction with her
creativity in learning makes her an outstanding candidate for your college/university.
