A Little Bit of Science

Meditational states are proven to alter brain waves. These different brain wave
frequencies initiate a change in brain chemistry, oxygen and carbon dioxide balance
etc, and therefore alters ones perceptual experience. Some states have been identified
to produce a very calm and creative experience, while other produce deep sleep and
so on.
Ideally, for one to experience this calm, open, receptive, relaxed and intuitive state
on a regular basis one trains oneself to oscillate in and out of different states
throughout the day. This practice provides the most benefit to overall health
including body repair, wellbeing, creativity and spiritual development.
