Re: Jaclyn Welshs Application for Employment
To Whom It May Concern:
I enthusiastically endorse Jaclyn Welshs application for a teaching
position at your school. Jaclyn is a highly competent, young woman
who possesses a strong sense of self and an expressed commitment to
educational excellence. Further, she demonstrates a fervent interest in
becoming a highly effective teacher.
I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with Jaclyn during the
Spring 2015 semester, when she was enrolled in my READ 411:
Language and Literacy class. The course introduces pre-service
teachers to strategies for integrating content area literacy into their
teaching. Jaclyn received an A in the course and steadily distinguished
herself by taking a thoughtful and introspective approach to the
processes of teaching and learning. Within the context of my class,
Jaclyn established a reputation as a reflective, responsible, and
conscientious student.
I have absolute confidence in her ability to be an asset to any teaching
corps. She is skilled, open to new ideas, and intellectually curious. In
the event that you have additional questions or seek further
information about Jaclyn Welsh, you may contact me at
Pauld@mail.montclair.edu or (973) 655-7183.
Respectfully,

Dierdre Glenn Paul
