Solve problems involving particles moving freely under gravity

(projectiles).
Use differentiation and integration to find displacement, velocity
and acceleration where these are a function of time, including
vectors.
Find the centre of mass of a group of particles given their
positions and masses.
Find the centre of mass of a lamina, including laminas made up of
rectangles, triangles and sectors, using the axis of symmetry
where appropriate.
Solve problems involving a lamina suspended from a point or free
to rotate round a point or a lamina on an inclined plane.
Understand kinetic energy, potential energy and work done.
Solve problems involving motion with a constant resistance and
problems involving travel up and down an inclined plane.
Solve problems involving impulse and momentum where the
inputs are in vector form.
Solve problems involving collisions using conservation of linear
momentum and the coefficient of restitution between the
particles.
Understand e as the coefficient of restitution and use given
information to calculate the range of possible values for e using
inequalities.
Solve problems involving successive collisions between up to 3
particles and a perpendicular wall.
Understand friction, moments and equilibrium. Apply the
concepts to situations involving rigid bodies like ladders leaning
against walls.
