CHAPTER 7 SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT
For this Chapter 7 Summative Assessment, you will pick an assignment that you will work
on individually or (Partners only if it involves a skit, no more than 3 to a group)
You will be given Wednesday (2/17) and Thursday (2/16) to work on these projects in class
with the final draft due on Tuesday (2/23)
Here is a list of possible assignments that you can complete, pick one.
Timeline- Create a timeline that demonstrates major events, an explanation of these as well as
the cause and effects behind them. This can be completed in many different ways including, but
not limited to a comic strip, picture/ story book, poster, PowerPoint, prezi, video presentation,
etc.
Museum Exhibit- Create an object that you could find in a museum based off this time period.
With this provide a detailed explanation of what the object is and how it is a representative of the
period covered.
3D model- Build a 3D model with a written explanation of what it is and how it demonstrates a
major theme or event in chapter seven.
News Article- Write a newspaper article that is inspired by the events that took place during this
chapter.
Video- Perform a recorded skit demonstrating major events that took place during this chapter.

The video can be either live action, stop-motion, or done on Go Animate

Poem/Rap/Song- Write a poem, rap or song in regards to what occurred during this chapter.
Game- Create a game that would show you have an understanding of the content. Instructions on
how to play the game are necessary. This can be, but not limited to a board game, flashcard
game, a Kahoot, etc.
Venn diagram- Create a diagram depicting some of the major similarities and differences
between major themes discussed during chapter 7.

Political Drawing- Create a visual representation of the political parties, individuals, plans
discussed during chapter 7. This can include, but not limited to campaign posters, political attack
ads, brochures, political cartoons, etc.
Modern Perspective- Write a modern take on the events and individuals that occurred during
chapter 7. Examples of this could include what a text-message conversation may look like
between important individuals at the time or a Facebook fight between individuals as well.
If you do not pick one of these options you will need to take the test or you will receive a
ZERO on this assignment.
If you chose to take the Test1. There will be no study guide for you to complete
