Results
The majority of participants between
the ages of 18-19 most of them females,
reported that racism affects numerous
employees in the country. Out of the
seventeen students, eleven students think
that racism is affecting peoples employment
opportunities in the country, while three
students think that it is not affecting, and the

Methods
In order to answer my two main
research questions, I decided to create a
small eight question survey. I went around
the cafeteria to personally hand them out to
students. The survey consisted of five openended and three closed-ended questions. I
handed my surveys to students because right
now, we are going through a point of time
where we have a person running for
president whose racial remarks are making
other people follow in his footsteps and

other three students are not sure.

A surprising finding was that at this
point in time, people think that racism is still
the same as during slavery. Out of the
seventeen participants that took my survey,
seven students believe that racism is still the
same since the time of slavery, while nine
people answered no, and only one person
was not sure. This shows that people believe
it will take a long time to end racism, and
will still become racist to blacks and many
others.
