Personal statement
I am an honest and hardworking individual. I always like learning new things as
well as being a good timekeeper. I am able to work well independently in a busy
environment. I am also good at working in team as well as independently. I am
a bright individual with a great sense of humour.
I am currently studying a level 3 diploma in business at Shipley College. I am
experienced in using technology as I have used much different software such as
Excel and PowerPoint. I have gained much more knowledge over the past year
due to the course which I am doing.

Employment History/ Experience


Mumbai the Restaurant: January May 2014
(Waiter/ till worker/taking orders on the phone)
I worked as a waiter for 4 months this helped me work on my communication
skills. I worked weekends part time. It was really good experience to work
there as I made many new friends and I talked to people who I never
knew before. I also helped out in the cleaning which was great fun
because everybody worked as a team to get things done. Working at the
till helped me with my maths skills as well as knowing how the card and
money systems work at the restaurant. I also took phone orders time to
time so I know how to communicate on the on the phone and what type of
language to use as well. I have also dealt with many angry customers over
my 4 months work at the company.
Work experiences: June 2015
West Bowling Advice Centre:
I did work experience at west bowling advice centre for two weeks which I
really enjoyed. I got to meet new people and I had to answer the phone to

book people in for appointments. I also did a lot of paper filing for them.
This then improved my skills in reading and giving verbal feedback.
Charity work: Ongoing
I have also done a lot of charity work for the organisation human appeal. This
helped me with talking to people as I had to talk to guests throughout
events. I have helped out in many human appeal charity events. This
helped me build my confidence. It also helped to understand others more
clearly. I help out with Fundraisers which take place at Oakleigh rest
home.
Royal mail: November 2015 January 2016
I worked part time for Royal mail. The job which i was doing was a Christmas
casual parcel sorter. This job role involved many different skills the skills
which it involved were being punctual. Working as a team and this also
involved independent work.

Hobbies & Interests


In my spare time I enjoy keeping updated with whats going on in the world,
which involves me reading the news. I also like helping in arranging events and
fundraisers. I have helped out at and arranged many fundraisers and events. I
also enjoy spending time with my family such as going out with them even if its
just to the supermarket I value family time.
