10. CYSA Track and Field is BACK at York University! Get

your teams and athletes together and join us on Sunday,
July 17, 2016. CYSA welcomes your contribution
towards our scholarship funds to financially support our
students in need.
11. All coaches and/or church representatives are asked to
attend a mandatory meeting at Crawford Adventist
Academy Main Campus at 1:00 pm on May 29, 2016.

12. Tonight at 7pm Mother's Day
celebration. Get ready to participate in
a hat parade, the cost to attend is
$2:00. If possible, each family should
dress in similar colors.
13. Our Golden Agers (age 55+) will be
going on a bus trip to Niagara Falls
and Niagara on the Lake on Sunday
June 26. We are joining the North
London Forever Young Seniors. We plan to leave
London 8 AM and be back here at 8 PM. The cost
is $30 each prepaid and non-refundable. Please
sign the Sign Up Sheet in the foyer if you want to
join us and talk to Don Topper or Adrien Intering for
more information.
14. The Golden Agers are inviting all who are age 55
and over (and guests) for a hike in Springbank Park
Tuesday May 24th. Please meet at the shelter
across from the Shoppers Drug Mart on
Commissioners Rd. at 11 AM. A potluck picnic
lunch will follow the hike.

When it comes to motherhood, this sign on a church

bulletin board says it all: If evolution is true, how come
mothers still only have two hands? Seriously, Mum,
today we stop to salute you and let you know how
much we appreciate you. Some days you probably
wonder if what youre doing even matters. Your work is
never done youre always exhausted and theres
no big financial reward. We live in an age that seems to
diminish service and exalt glitzsometimes its hard to
value your investment. But hear this: God says youre
highly esteemed by Him, and that children are some of
His most precious gifts (see Psalm 127:3). Eugene
Peterson paraphrases Solomons words in The
Message by describing a mother as someone who
senses the worth of her work [is] diligent in
homemaking faces tomorrow with a smile has
something worthwhile to say, and always says it
kindly Her children respect and bless her; her
husband joins in with words of praise (Proverbs 31:1819 MSG). Then Peterson finishes the chapter with
these words: Many women have done wonderful things,
but youve outclassed them all!. So Mum, while your
role isnt defined by a pay cheque or a promotion,
youre vitally important to your family and your
childrens physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Nobody can take your place! Samuel was one of
Israels greatest prophets, but who was the driving
force in his life? His mother, Hannah! When Samuel
was born she said, I am giving him to the Lord for as
long as he lives (1 Samuel 1:28 TLB). Mother, you
matter more than you know. God is moulding
