theprocessshecutherself.Thesecondbloodtypefoundontheknifeisthesamebloodtype,
typeA,asNormaNanny.

NormaNannyisinlovewithFredFleckstoneandsheknowsthatheisembarrassedbyThomas
Standstonewho,webelieve,changedhisnametoCaptainCornball.NormaNannyisajealous
personandwilldoanythingittakestomakeFredFleckstoneloveherbackevenifthatmeans
killinghisdisgracedfatherinorderforFredtoseethatNormaistheoneheshouldlove.

Samstubsistheonewhowrotethenotebecausehisfingerprintsmatchtheprintsthatwason
thepenandtheinkmatchedtheinkthatcamefromthepen.Motiveleadsustobelievethat
himandNormaNannywereworkingtogetherandheistheonewhoknockedovertheglassin
thedarknesstocreateanalibiforNormascut.Webelievethisbecauseitwashisfingerprint
thatwasonthebrokenglass.

SamStubsmotivewasthatThomasSandstone(CaptainCornball)hadanaffairwithhismother
andshehadachild.CaptainCornballbroughtthatchildtoanadoptioncenterimmediatelyafter
birth.WecanseethathismotiveforwantingCornballtobedeadisbecausehebrokeup
Samsfamily.

WethinkthisbecauseNormaNannycutherhand,herfingerprintmatchestheonefoundatthe
crimescene,andtheDNAsequencesmatch.

ThekillermightnotbeFredFleckstonebecausethetypesofbloodfoundatthecrimescene
weretypeO,andtypeA.OnewasCaptainCornballsbloodandheistypeO.Sincetheother
bloodfoundwasAtypeblood,FredFleckstonecanbeeliminatedbecausehehastypeOblood.
Eventhoughhisbloodwasnotfoundatthescene,thereisapossibilitythatFredFleckstone
couldhavenotcutorharmedhimselfduringthecrimeandNormaNannycouldhavecuther
handonSamStubsglassduringthechaosofthescreaminganddarkness.ThomasSandstone
(amysteriousmanwhoisseentoaffectalotofpeopleslifestories)isFredsfatherbutThomas
killedFredsauntandhiscousin.Becauseofthis,Fredwasextremelyembarrassedand
changedhislastnametoFleckstone.Fredspotentialmotivecouldhavebeentoavengehis
familybykillingCaptainCornball(Thomas,hisdad)andgetbackathimforthesufferingand
embarrassmenthecausedFredforalltheseyears.

CaptainCornballchangedhisname.WeareledtobelievehechangedhisnamefromThomas
toCaptainCornball.Thisisbecausehewenttojailandwantedafreshstart.Wethinkhe
changeditfromThomasbecauseThomasisamysteriousmanandhadalotofchildrenjustlike
CaptainCornball.

Chromatographyisaprocess

alcohol,withthedotatthebottom.Allowthesolventtomoveupthepaperforatleast10
minutes.Youthenmeasurethedistancethesolventtraveledandthedistancethepenink
traveled.

Forthebloodtypingportionweweredeterminingthebloodtypeofthepeopleatthescenedue
tobloodsamplesfound.Inordertofindaperson'sbloodtypeyouputfivedropsofbloodintoa
wellandonedropofselectedantiserum(antiAorantiB)tothewellandrocktomix.Ifitreacts
totheserum,getsclumpy,thenitisthattype.

Thefingerprintingprocedurestartswithobtainingaslidewithafingerprintonit.Thenyoulook

turnthebottleupsidedowntosqueezepowderontothefeatherduster.Thenyouapplypower
tothesurfaceoftheslideusingthefeatherdusterwithalighttwirlingmotion.After,gentlybrush
offtheexcesspowder.Thenphotographtheprintthroughtheambershieldonthemicrolight,
usethemicrolightasthelightsourcenoflashfor2seconds.Lifttheprintofftheslidewiththe
lifterfilm.Peelofftheprotectivebackingandplacethestickysideofthelifterfilmonprintthen
