CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF
2010!
BE “IN THE KNOW” OF ALL 5TH GRADE HAPPENINGS, EVENTS AND NEWS

May marks the end of a fantastic year for
Creek View fifth graders! Remember when it
was August, and the year was new? We do,
and would like to congratulate the entire fifth
grade class on a year of hard work and fun.
You have come a long way, and have a lot to
look forward to!
All classes are in the process of wrapping up
the academic year and also taking the end-
of-year assessments. Please be sure to
monitor student agendas for end-of-year test
schedules. Also, as we approach the end of
the year, please help us to reinforce
expectations for behavior and academics.
Students should continue to read in the
summer. Webb Bridge has an incentive
program and will send home information
about their requirements. It can also be
found on their website. Daily reading is
expected for all students.
As always, do not hesitate to contact us if you
have any questions, concerns, or
compliments. We would like to thank you for
all of your help and cooperation this year.
We have enjoyed our partnership and know it
has been together that we achieved good
things for our children.

The Georgia Writing Test results will be in

shortly, and your child’s scores will be
included with the end of year report cards.
The results of the CRCT will not be made
available to us until the end of May. We will
notify parents of the results.

18- Crazy Hat Day and Staff Baby Photo Contest*
19 – Keepsake Day/School Colors & Brown Bag Day (for student belongings)*
20 – 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony (8:15 am in the cafeteria)**
6:30 pm Pool Party at Windward Community Pool. Must reserve spot!
21 – Last Day of School (no back packs allowed) Ice Cream Party at lunch.

* Students with overdue books will not be allowed to participate in 5th grade festivities.
** We encourage all students to dress nicely for the promotion ceremony. Students will
be able to change into appropriate clothes for our party following the reception in the
gym. Please be advised that all dress code regulations will be in effect.
