As a Kindergarten teacher, grade level chair, Student Support and Celebrations Committee Treasurer,
and Leadership/ Professional Development Committee Secretary, it is important to share/ present
strategies that my fellow colleagues can implement in their classrooms, as well as assist and be an
active member in the school/ district activities.

Student Support and Celebrations Committee:
MISSION STATEMENT
We the faculty, staff and parents of Juan M. Guerrero Elementary School are dedicated to the educational growth and achievement of our students
within a positive learning environment in order to be productive citizens.

- I am the committee Treasurer. I keep a running log of the balance in our committees account and
update the members weekly.
- Dynamic Dolphin Certificates: I collect names and prepare Dynamic Dolphin certificates for the
monthly assemblies. I also prepare parent invitations for each assembly, so that parents have an
opportunity to be a part of the awarding ceremony. I keep a running log of Dynamic Dolphins teachers
have chosen every month.
Leadership / Professional Development Committee:
- I am the committee Secretary. I prepare agendas for meetings and professional developments, taking
minutes/ notes, and keep/ maintain a committee binder.
Grade Level:
- As grade level chair, I will share, present, or train my fellow Kindergarten teachers on assessments,
strategies, and resources that they could implement in their classrooms.
