The article talks about Yiddish language, and the people who spoke Yiddish
language. Also, the article talks about the history of Yiddish language, and it explains the
difference between, Hebrew language and Yiddish language. In terms of writing,
speaking, and the usage of both of Hebrew language and Yiddish language.
However, what caught me is, the Yiddish language. I did not have any knowledge
about Yiddish language, but after reading the article. It appeared there is a link between,
the Hebrew language and Yiddish language. Since there is a part in my research that is
going to talk about the Hebrew language, this article is going to help me to write about
the difference between Hebrew and Yiddish.
Besides, this source is credible source. Because, it is from University Of North
Carolina at Charlotte library, also it is a peer-reviewed article, which means it is a
credible source. Also, the author is Miriam Isaac, who is a retired professor of Yiddish
language. She was professor at University of Maryland College Park.

The book is about the history of the Hebrew language. The book describes the
stages that the Hebrew language went through. Also, the book talks about the Hebrew
language being restored, in addition the difference between Modern Hebrew and biblical
Hebrew.
The book is informative. It taught me the evolution of the Hebrew language, and
how did it survive from extension. Therefore, it is going to benefit me in my research
essay to write about the history of Hebrew language.
Also, it is a trusted source. Because, it is from Google Scholar, which is trusted
website, and the book did provide the sources for most of the information that was
mentioned. In addition, the author who wrote the book is, Angel Badillos, who was
professor of the history of the Hebrew language at Universidad Complutense, Madrid,
Spain. 2 years ago professor Angel Badillos has passed away.

The video is about Arabic language. It states couple of facts about Arabic
language, and couple of statistics. The video does address couple of the misconception
about the Arabic language, and the video explains a few of the Arabic grammar.

The video has some interesting facts. For example, in Arabic language you can

call the camel with four hundred different names. Also, there is more information in the
video. Therefore, the video is going assist me, when I write about the Arabic language.
Especially when it comes to grammar, because the video explains it clearly.
In addition, Leslie McLoughlin, who wrote, and presented the video is a professor
at the University Of Exeter in England. The professor has experience in Arab and Islamic
studies, which means the video is credible source.
4- Abu-Rabia, Salim. "The role of vowels in reading Semitic scripts: Data from Arabic

This article is about the similarities and differences, between Arabic language and
Hebrew language. In terms of the verbs, grammar, and pronunciation. Also, the article
mentions the similarity of an Arabic person reading, and a Hebrew person reading.
From reading the article, I have learned a few aspects about Hebrew language.
Although, both Arabic and Hebrew are written from right to left, there is still some
difference. For example, Hebrew language has couple of different vowels, different
writing rules.
Also, this source is from Google Scholar. However, this article has been cited 119
times by other articles. Therefore, this article is credible source, and it is going to support
my ideas, and develop my ideas about sematic language. Also, Salim Abu Rabia has PhD
in Attitudes and cultural background and their relationship to reading comprehension in
L2 (second language).

5- Versteegh, Kees. The arabic language. Edinburgh University Press, 2014.

The book talks about the journey of Arabs when they colonized Spain, and from

that colonization, couples of Latin languages have been influenced by Arabic language.
Besides, the book explains how did the Arabic language influence the Spanish language.
The book is uses simple words, which makes it not complicated to understand.
Therefore, I learned how Arabic language influenced other languages. By translating
some of the foreign languages to Arabic language, and the Arabs had more knowledge at
that time than the European. Therefore, from these information I could add to my
research how did the Arabic language influenced foreign languages.
In addition, the source was taken from Google Scholar. However, what makes the
book pleasant for me is the pleasant writing. Also, the year that the book was published,
which was in 2014, and that makes it more credible. Besides, Kees Versteegh was a
professor at Radboud University Nijmegen in Netherlands. He was a professor of slamic
studies and the Arabic language.
