    cansurvivebysimplymakingduewithwhattheyhavebecausetheyareilliterate,buttheir
    qualityoflifeandopportunitiessufferimmensely.Theissueofilliteracycanbedirectlyand
    indirectlylinkedtosignificantpersonalhardshipsindailylifeandnegativelyimpacting
    economicbusiness.
    Writtensigns,directions,warnings,andinstructionsareeverywhere,andbeingilliterate
    makeslifethatmuchharder.Inarestaurant,themenuiswritten.Ifprescriptionmedicationis
    needed,thedirectionscannotberead(LiteracyPartners).Illiteracymakessmall,everydayacts
    moredifficult.AccordingtoConsequencesofIlliteracy,unemploymentistwotofourtimes
    higherofthosewhoareilliterate,causingalargereffectonlife.Also,illiterateclientsare

    colleges,whichareprimarilybasedonreadingandwriting.Thelackofliteracyskillscouldalso

    arepersonaldifficultiesthatcomewithnotbeingabletoread,aswellaslargerpictureeffects
    thatdealwitheconomicgrowthandbusinessmatters.Illiteracyiscostingimmenseamountsof
    wastedmoneyandisimpedingindividualsdreamstosucceedinaliterateworld.
