Also I gave and received feedback
when practising the lines for my role
which had to be loud and clear as we
had a big venue and 100s of people
attending. We all judged one another
on our voices, our way of speaking
for example not to fast but just right.
I was able to listen to this feedback
and give feedback also resulting in a
successful event.

I have used this skill at college and


developed it in college also while
doing assignments. The longest
piece of assignment I did was 68
pages. This was based on the
information I found and had to write
according to the assignment brief
given.

college. At college I developed this
whilst completing my assignment
and at work I developed by preparing
reports, excel document of
databases in terms of Incommunities
social media channels and

in meetings taking place at the
Centre of Excellence. We had a
meeting with Nav Chohan for the
leadership team presentation/. We all
went around giving and sharing idea
and here i was able to tell my ideas

the process of doing the Saltaire Arts
Trail project. I have learnt to follow
the designated schedule given by
the Chair of Saltaire Arts Trail project,
giving a deadline of which this
project should be done by which is
now been kept as 23rd April
midnight.
This skill was used in when I was cohosting the Pathways to Prosperity
conference. As it was a group project
we all helped and advised each
other, as if one person makes a
mistake, the whole group can be
affected. We had planned what we
were doing, who was saying what,
and who was going up on stage at
what time as the whole event
needed to be finished at a specific
time. We had to not go on too long
with our speeches. The result of this
was successful and everything and
everyone spoke and finished on
time.

The way I have developed this skill


is by getting involved at college in
various opportunities to where it is to
do with employers coming into the
centre of excellence for business.
This way I have learnt how to
communicate with them and learnt
the ways of building a networking
relationship with them.

big employers and asked what have i

I can work unsupervised in class and


at work. I have firstly developed this
skill at college as we get
assignments given and are told to
work on them and this work, the
research, the typing is done by you
and your are unsupervised while
doing this and dont get any help
while doing these assignments.
I have used this skill at college. I
have developed this by completing
assignments given from 3-4 different
lecturers with deadlines being close
to each other. I have learn how to
handle these efficiently and

both as I come to college 3 and half
days per week and go to work for 1

I have used this skill at college whilst forming a group to


co-host the Pathways to Prosperity conference. In this
role, I made the script for everyones part guiding them
on how it needs to be said, suggesting any ideas and
changes to their speaking and reading.
I have developed these skills at college also and I
motivated my own group and gave them the
responsibility which I think they are capable of. This was
when we were given the responsibility to co-host the
Pathways to Prosperity conference. I gave everyone
responsibility with their own parts of the script and also
motivated them by suggesting to practise at the venue as
we were going to get there earlier.
Again, I would refer this skill being used at the conference
preparation. We all listened to one another practising our
script on a stage to match the atmosphere and stage we
may have at the conference venue. Here we judged each
others speaking, clearness in speaking and the loudness
as there were 100s of guests and it need to be heard.
I have used and developed this skill at Shipley College.
Currently i am project managing a festival called Saltaire
Arts Trail. I have done a Gantt Chart where i have written
all my tasks and activities as part of the plan for this
event. I have also shared it with all my teammates and
put a deadline for each one for them to complete each
task step by step.

Again, i have done this using a Gantt chart. Delegating


tasks and reviewing progress to achieving goals is
something that i have quite newly learnt but now I am
pretty sure Im confident with it. The Gantt Chart shown

due to the kind of department i work
in. I have attended a digital
marketing event at the Leeds Dock
called the Google Garage which was
in collaboration with Leeds Beckett
University. I thought this would be
good to go to as i am showing
