Lesson Objectives: The students will explore pitch through exploration. The
students will listen critically and identify songs through solfege. The students will
sing stick notation on solfege to learn a new piece. The students will transfer
their knowledge of solfege to playing their xylophone.
Assessment: I will check to see if the students are singing confidently and
correctly without my assistance. I will also assess if they are successful in
transferring their knowledge of solfege onto the xylophone.
