RefWorks

Go to:

Go to folder

Save / remove
View last imported

saving references to Refworks


Select references
Choose & name new folder
Drop references in folder

manually entering references into RefWorks

From the References menu, select Add New or New


Reference button.

The Fields used by drop-down menu choose Apa 6th American Psychological Association, 6th

Change reference type to the type of resource (Book,


Whole; Journal Article).

You may wish to display additional fields and then


displays things such as personal notes or users fields e.g.
User 1, User 2.

In Refworks go to search > Select
University of Lincoln Library Catalogue
Amend number of results
Enter mental health > search
Select references >
Import
> OK
View last imported folder
Select > move into new or existing
folder

Select cite for your chosen reference
Copy reference in box
Paste into master document

You can edit a reference too

adding page numbers


RefWorks can insert page numbers.
Select the reference you need
Add /f and your page number into each
citation, e.g.
{{50 Artis,Michael J. 1991/f p.23;}}

create bibliography
Choose relevant folder
Select
Choose UoL (APA 6th American
Psychological Association, 6th) > create
bibliography and Word for Windows (2000 or
later)
