1. Ref TM #205111 // VSO #27471, 27484 & 31665 API: Configure channels for joining
Agreements/price types shown by the API can now be grouped, allowing you to only show certain services, to a third
party for example. These groupings are referred to as channels.
Channels are configured in Control Panel >> Data >> Agreement >> Channels. To add a new Channel, click Add. This will
show you the screen below, where you can enter a channel name and description:
Release 1603
Version: 1.0
If you do not tick the Active tick box the channel will not be available to select when assigning channels to agreements
and price types.
Once you have created your channels, you will be able to assign them at either agreement level or at price type level,
through either Agreement management > > Select agreement >> Channels Tab or Agreement management >> Select
Agreement >> Pricing Tab >> Select Price >> Channels Tab respectively.
All active channels will be pulled through to this section and set to unassigned by default. You can click Assign in the
bottom left to assign this channel to the Agreement. Upon clicking Assign another window will open allowing you to
create the agreement channel for the specific agreement, add a description and assign any events to the channel to show
within Legend when the channel is used.
At price type level you have three options: Inherits, Override and Disable. Inherits means that the price type
inherits the settings configured at agreement level, Override allows you to set a new name, description and web
description as well as allowing you to add different events to the price type and Disable will remove this price type from
the agreement channel. Please note that price type level channels override agreement level channels. If no price type
level channel is specified, the agreement level channel will be inherited.
2. Ref VSO #30846 API: Online profile New Endpoint
There are scenarios where a joiner can have an email which has an online profile, but isnt found by the search (when the
surname or DOB is different - a wife or a child, for example). The solution for this is a new end point in the API which
checked for the existence of the online profile. The EndPoint will be called HasOnlineProfile and take an email address.
Please note the following: email address is now used as a parameter, API returns false if email not an online profile, API
returns true if email is an online profile plus.
