I,CORAA.SANTIAGO,Filipino,oflegalage,singleandwith
residenceat#10Maryhills,LoakanProper,BaguioCityafterhavingbeen
dulysworntoinaccordancewithlaw,herebydeposeandsay:
1 ThatIamfilingacomplaintagainstLINAP.MORTONforviolation
ofBP22,whoisaresidentofNo.45EverlastingSt.,Q.M.,Baguio
City;
2 ThatsometimeonAugust25,2014atmyresidenceintheCityof
Baguio,LINA P. MORTON, convinced me to take her check for
rediscountingrepresentingthatthecheckswillbegoodonthedate
indicatedonthechecks;
3 That the respondentdelivered several checks and TWO (2) among
severalchecksarethesubjectofthiscaseamountingtoP255,000.00,
towit:

4 ThatonthedatesofthecheckIdepositedthesameandtomydismay
theyallcamebackwithannotationsACCOUNTCLOSED;
5 Thatshedefraudedmetopartwithmymoneywhensheissueda
checkwithinsufficientfundsandworse,accountclosed.Sheissues
checksknowingverywellthatthesameisworthless;
6 That upon bouncing of the checks I PERSONALLY delivered a
demandlettertotherespondentgivingherachancetomakegoodthe
paymentsofthechecksbutshechosetoignorethesame;
7 Herein attached is the Demand Letter delivered personally to the
respondentonDecember3,2012asANNEXC;

8 The unlawful acts by Respondent caused damage and prejudice to

complainantintheamountofPhp120,000.00,theamountreleasedto
respondentasproceedsofthecheck;
9 Complainant spent Php30,000.00 for attorneys fees for filing the
complaintaffidavit;
10 That I am executing this affidavit, to file a formal complaint in
ViolationofB.P.22againstLinaP.Morton.
