RULES FOR ISSUE OF BOOKS / JOURNALS

Two Books (1 Text Book & 1 General Reading Book) will be

issued for 8 days.
Please write your Name, I Card No. & Date(Issue Date & Due
Date) on Book card while issuing a document for reference or home
issue. Please do signature on book card while returning book
Please return the books to the person at issue counter; do not keep
the books on racks without making entry.
Books issued for Reference are for reading in Library only. Failure
to return such books & if taken outside without permission will
attract a fine of Rs. 50/- per day in addition to disciplinary action.
Journals, Periodicals, Project Reports, Paper Sets will be issued
against I/ Smart card for reading in library only.
During exam period 2 Textbooks can be issued at a time for a
period of 8 days.

 If the Books are not returned on due date the students shall pay a
fine of Rs. 5/- per day.
Identity /Smart card is not transferable. Students shall use their I
card for their own purpose. Other students shall not use it.
Loss of book if any must be reported immediately. Late fee will be
charged till the loss of book is reported. On report of loss student
will be required & to replace the book or reimburse the cost of the
book to the library
External Membership facility is available in library.

Library Rules
Every student should carry I / Smart card with him/her
Maintain complete silence in the Library & Premises.
Keep Newspapers, Periodicals & Books etc. back in their proper
original positions after use.
Library material should be handled with utmost care.
Do not disturb seating arrangement.
Do not disturb the existing wiring /cabling of computer sets. There
will be strict disciplinary action in case of non compliance.
Maintain decorum in the reading room.
Do not place your feet on the table & chair.
Combing, sleeping, are strictly prohibited in library. There will be
strict disciplinary action in case of non compliance.
While entering in the library students should leave their bags,
jackets, etc. at the property counter at their own risk.

 Make entry of Name, Course, Roll No. In Time & Out Time in
attendance Register.
Laptop & Mobile Charging is not allowed in the library Reading
Hall.
Please keep your mobile on silent while in the library and talking
on mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the Library. Infringement
of this, will attract a fine of Rs. 100/- (Rs. One Hundred Only)
every time.
