Reading Review
Students will:
~ summarize a text and use specific details in the
text to describe a character, setting, or events in the story.
~ write and talk about the difference between
poems, plays, or fictional stories.
~ identify the main idea of a text and supporting
details.

Writing
~W.1 Informational Writing
Students will:
~ Write to inform/explain topics or ideas to others
clearly.

Math Review
~ G. 1-3: identifying lines and angles, and
classifying shapes by properties of lines and angles.
~MD. 1-5: measurement and conversion of
measurements, and interpreting data
~ OA. 1-5: multiplicative comparisons, multistep
word problems, factors, prime and composite numbers,
and number patterns and rules.
~ NBT. 1-6: place value, rounding numbers, adding
and subtracting multi-digit numbers, multiplying and
dividing numbers, and the area models
~ NF.1-6: equivalent fractions, comparing
fractions, adding and subtracting fractions

for the remainder of the school year.
Please encourage your child to read at
home every night, study for weekly
quizzes, and prepare for End of Grade
Testing by reviewing classwork and
interactive notebooks.
