Feedback

Very fast pace of

lesson

You showed the

students all the
steps at once,
then gave them
time to try
some lost track

You gave the

students the
fabric and they
got busy looking
at it instead of
focusing on your
instructions

You asked
questions then
immediately
answered them

Recommendations

Make sure you

slow down and
repeat
instructions to
ensure students
are able to keep
with your pace

You need to
show the
students the step
by step process,
in order to
guarantee they
are with you.

Explain, then
once everyone
understands,
give them the
fabric to begin
following your
steps and apply.

You should give

students the
time to think a
long silence after
a questions is
being asked is
not bad.

Colleague Name

I taught the lesson in 10 minutes, and then received the feedback and recommendations from my
colleagues. Once I got the feedback, I sat down to take notes and re-write my plan in order to include the
new changes. I then delivered the same lesson while taking into consideration the feedback that I have
received. The second round was more successful, the flaws were avoided and I was able to overcome my
mistakes. My colleagues were happy with my progress and I was determined to always listen and pay
attention to comments given by colleagues and students in order to become a better teacher.
