Myclienthasfiveequipmentswhichheisclubingthemintooneworkcenterwithfivecapacities.In
equipmentmasterihavegivenforrespectiveequipmentsihavegivenPPworkcenterlocationsbut
whenicreateamaintorderforoneequiptheninplanningthecapacityavalabilityisaffectingthe
entireworkcenterforexifthetotalworkononeequipis12hrsthenonly8hrsofcapcityshouldbe
deductedfortodayand4hrsfortommorowbutinplannigall12hrsaregettingdeductedintodays
capacityitself.

CM50forthatWCafterScheduling,ReleasingandSavingtheOrder.

AlsoinWorkCenter,pleasecheckwhetheryouhavespecifiedtheFormulainCapacitiestab.

willwork.

ThisisthestandardscenarioinanyProcessIndustryorincaseofanAssemblylineofa
Automobilemanufacturingindustry.

Soitshouldwork.Pleasecheckthefollowingpointsagain,

1.AssignmentofWorkCentertoEquipmentMaster
2.SystemCondition'0'NotinOperationinBothheaderaswellasagainstIndividual
Operations(inWorkOrderforthatEquipment)
3.WorkOrderhasbeenreleased.
4.SameWorkCenterisusedinRoutingandthesameisPlannedforaperiod.

Ifwehavealltheabovepointsright,thenwhiledispatchingtheProductionOrder
systemshouldshowthePeriodofblockandshouldshift/planthePOaccordingly.

productionordercreation.

Butsometimessubproduction&bypassingsystemispossiblewithlogically.

clubbedtoformaworkcenterthenthetotaldailycapacityofthatworkcenter
willbe8*5=40hrs..Ifoneoftheequipmentgoesformaintenancesayfor5hrs
theninCM50theworkcentercapacitygetsreducedto35Hrs...uptohereit
willworkfine.
Butifthebreakdownismorethen8hrssayforexample10hrsthenideallythe
workcentercapacityshouldreduceby8hrsononedayandremaining2Hrs
shouldbereducedfromnextdayscapacity..butactuallywhatishappeningis
thecapacityisgettingreducedby10hrsonthesameday!
Soisthereanywaywecanaddressthis
