Introduction to Exercise Sci

5 The professor treated students fairly.

Dr. Hartman always treated all of his students with respect and had a willingness to help us go to the next level of excellence.
8 The professor provided clear explanations to clarify concepts.
I loved how Dr. Hartman provided practical situations and allowed us to experience meaningful activities that would move us forward in the field.
9 The assignments contributed meaningfully to my understanding of the subject matter.
I really enjoyed all of the assignments because it really made each concept come alive. I understood the relevance of why we did each assignment; especially enjoyed and
learned so much from my site visits and reflections.
I appreciated how we had to do a resume and cover letter assignments and attending those workshops were
extremely valuable experiences. I had a lot of fun and learned so much from researching my choice career aspiration. Thank you Dr. Hartman , you are the best!
11 The professor informed students of their progress.
I appreciated how he sent us detailed progress reports.
15 The text used in this course was:
While the text was valuable resource, I really appreciate how he integrated other materials and experiences to make the class meaningful.

4 Student responsibilities in this course were defined.

The course reading was a bit intense, and reading all the material in time was a challenge
9 The assignments contributed meaningfully to my understanding of the subject matter.
I feel like the additional chapter online for periodization was too in-depth and un-necessary at the depth it was. I feel like we could have been assigned pieces and parts of
that supplemental reading rather than the whole thing.

10 Exams and other assessments concentrated on the important aspects of the class.
I'm not sure if the test format (hypothetical situations) was an accurate way of testing if we knew the assigned information.
12 The professor's teaching methods were effective.
Teaching methods mostly, testing methods no. In class we covered some of the main concepts but not how to apply them to situations.
