REFLECTION PAPER

Today, May 12, 2016, our class had the manufacturing laboratory tour at Hizon
laboratories. Generally, the tour was satisfying and a probable learning experience which
also increased the hype of the block's interest. For me, the best part of this was how I was
able to predict and understand how the manufacturing laboratory runs, for beforehand, I
was able to design my own pathway of a manufacturing firm that enabled me to easily
adapt myself on the actual. It was great to know that the rooms that I expected it to be on
my design, is actually adapted in real life.
Also, I appreciated the fact that I have a good background on the CGMP (Current
Good Manufacturing Oractice) for it gave me the opportunity to evaluate the surroundings
of the laboratory itself, and how everything really is documented and done. And I was able
to relate with the tour guide's terms like quality assurange manager, product recall, etc.
For the experience that Hizon laboratories submerged me in was short but
comprehensive from The way they oriented us to the way they strolled us around. They
were able to subject us into the general assemble of their working coverage.
Above all, I appreciated the fact that this experience opened another door of
opportunities, especially to my blockmates who is still deciding for what profession to
focus on and so far, this experience made them think. And for me, if the odds are not in my
favor, i will also think about this oppotunity. Overall, the whole tour was worth it.
