the year, students know the four seasons, students know 30 days has September, students know how to
use PowerPoint presentation, students know what a calendar is.

month.

We are going to explore calendars. Does anybody know what a calendar is? Why we
use calendars? The format or layout of a calendar?

Model one similarity and difference.
Develop a Venn diagram with students to map out similarities and differences

three differences.
