RRU Food Bank
The Food Bank is a Student Services initiative that
serves the most vulnerable students on campus. It is
operated in a no-questions-asked style.
The Food Bank is physically located in the Recreation
Centre and may be accessed anytime during operating
hours. The Recreation Centre reception counter has the
key.
The primary supply of unperishable food is donated by
students leaving residency. It is collected via bins located
in residency lounges. Unperishable food or cash for the
Financial Aid & Awards shopping trip are also accepted
at the Library and Recreation Centre.
Financial Aid & Awards staff will stock the shelves with
food purchased at Costco and other wholesale shops if

funding is available.
Student services have found that many students, staff,
