INTRODUCTION- Students will do a pre-class research on the internet and collect some

basic information on the topic. They will exchange this information with each other. The
doubts on the researched material will then be clarified by me.
FLOW- The topic will then be dealt with starting from the classification to the methods of

preparation followed by listing and alongside comparing the physical and chemical
properties of aldehydes and ketones.
