90 percent of the Egyptian culture is Sunni Muslims who speak
Arabic. A very small amount of that, 6% are Christians. Egypt has an
area of 385,229 square miles (1,001,000 kilometeres). The ay Egypt
works is very diffefrent then the US, in many diferrent ways.
Their government is called a dictatorship, which means its ruled
by a king, in eygpts case, a pharoh. The Pharoh is thought of as more
then just a king, he represents a god, and citizens believe that him
himself is an actual god. Being thought of in this way gave the pharoh
a huge amount of power of all his citizens. Many who served the
Pharoh, advisors, etc., were often preists. Preists were one of the few
who were holey and worthy enough to serve the pharoh as a
companion and helpful worker. Big officals who are part of the
eygptian government are vizier, prime minister, chief treasurer, tax
collecter, minister of public words, and army commander.
The government of Egypt would break the lands up in groups
called nomes. Every nome had its own governer, who was
accompanied by the Pharoh. The nomes also served the vizier. The
citizens who lived on those nomes had to pay of their taxes with work
and items worthy of trade, while today they pay them by working at
their jobs and purchasing items from the government and stores.
The united states government way different then the eygptian
government, for example the government is controlled by the power of
the people and common welfare is givin to the people. The united
states of America consistes of three branches, the first is legislative.
The legislative branch is made up of the house of representitives and
senate, they collect taxes and a lot more. The second branch is the
Exeutive branch, made of the president and the vice president. The
vice president is the back up president, for example is any thing
happened to the president the vice president would take over. The final
branch is the Judical, which is made of the supreme court and other
courts.
The US government has more freedoms then the eygptian
government, an example is voting and election, the egyptains
generally dont have a desion. As of now, the Egyptian government has
fallen and is out of control while the us is still standing up. The united
states government is designed to be equal with eachother, for example
the legislative branch spends and takes care of the united states
money and creates laws, the exeutive controls the budget, relations to
forein countires, passes laws and is commander in chief, and judicial

runs the courts and keeps the laws in place. The previous head of
eygpt was overthrown by protesters, when the bosses of the military
took control. Eygptian citizens are protesting against the war chiefs
and trying to get a democratic government which is scheduled next
year for elections. A big protest is going on in Egypt because some
citizens dont belive the heads of military would give up their power.
