Reflective thought

Over the course of this subject I feel I have learnt a great deal about the
definition of a resource. Before this subject I would have classed a resource as
concrete manipulatives or tactile objects. Now as the subject draws to a close I
understand the term resource can refer to a much broader range of things
including digital software and hardware. It has changed my perception of
resources, their use and implementation in a classroom environment.
Another key area that has been altered and redefined for me is just how integral
technology is to learning and how important this impact has become. I now have
a much firmer grasp of what constitutes learning with technology. For example,
analog items such as a work book or pencils still constitute the use of technology
to a certain extend. Despite the fact that they are not explicitly digital devices.
Finally, I feel I can use the knowledge gained from this subject along with the
resources gathered for the second assignment to further assist in my teaching
for years to come. Thank you to all who participated in this process.
