Prevention of the Zika Virus

MOBILE, Al- The Zika virus has finally made it to Alabama, as health officials are investigating 9 potential
virus cases.
No worries Mobile, for the virus has not infiltrated the Mobile area. But, make sure to take precautions
such as wearing long sleeve shirts along with pants, staying in cool air conditions and perhaps invest in a
mosquito bed net.
Mosquitos are said to be the cause of this rampant outbreak, symptoms including fever, rash, joint pain,
and redness of the eyes. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this may last for
several days to a week, however Zika primarily does not lead to death.
