The GENSAN TUNA Model
- All tuna caught in the Philippines delivered to GENSAN.
- Most tuna caught in the PACIFIC OCEAN and China Sea are also
delivered
to GENSAN even by foreign fishing boats.
- GENSAN developed the fishport facilities and a strong Manufacturing
and canneries connecting with the airports and container ports.
- The fishport and canneries got the USFDA Euro and JAPAN
accreditations,
Hence using ex GENSAN shipping documents all tuna (
Fresh, canned and
refrigerated) are readily acceptable with tariff
privileges.
- Hence, major volume traffic happens in GENSAN for export, creating
