Log in to D2L
a. Go to cc.desire2learn.com
b. Use your given name as your username: firstname.lastname (ex. amanda.grobe)
c. Use your birthday as your password: 2 digit month and day, four digit year (ex.
01241991)
Get to the course
a. Choose World History AP at the bottom of the screen. If it isnt there, let me know
so I can add you to the course.
OR
b. Choose World History AP from the pull-down Select a Course menu at the top of
the screen. Again, if it isnt there, let me know so I can you to the course.
Explore
a. Read the content in the News area. It appears first and will contain information to
help or inform you.
b. Choose the Resources tab and select Content. All information for the course
(including most texts) will appear in this area. It will be divided into weekly modules.
You will find all information for each week in those modules. There is also a separate
module for texts. Texts will appear in the weekly module in which they are introduced.
Make sure that you keep up with your D2L Login Information! We will use
it on a daily basis during the school year.
