What did you learn about teaching or learning from this lesson? Discuss your observation focus, and the theory you have studied in your TESOL classes. Consider the three
levels of teacher reflection (surface, pedagogical, critical). (100-300 words)
For this observation, I focused on the classroom management. T used individual, pair
works and also the whole class arrangements. First, T presented the contents to the whole
class. Second, T asked SS to discuss with partners for practicing. Last, T asked SS to do
individual speeches at the end of class for production. While T was following PPP
method, she used all of the classroom arrangement forms. T arranged the classroom efficiently for each activity. I learned that classroom arrangement could be the useful tool to
use to enhance SSs production.

What activities/techniques from this class do you want to remember for your own
teaching practice? Discuss your future teaching environment and your students needs/
goals. Discuss specific ways in which you could adapt and apply the techniques and
methods you saw. (100-300 words)
This T included lots of pair works. T first asked SS to pair up with a person next to and
then she asked each SS to pick a small paper with the topic written and match up with the
individual who has the same theme. In my future teaching environment, I would like to
use this activity. This T used this drawing topic to make pairs in the middle of the class. It
was good timing for make SS to stretch their bodies. By doing this activity, SS were
repositioned and refreshed thus I thought this is a good technique to use, especially for
long time classes.
