A1: The guy that is named The professor, since nobody knows his real name.

A2: Orchard Avenue (California).
3. How do people in the community generally feel about the Professor?
A3: They think he is mysterious, since nobody knows much about him, some people also
feel afraid towards him.
4. Who first witnesses the Egypt Game?
A4: Melanie is the one that proposes the Egypt Game to be created, following her
experience with the role-play games she did I her house.
5. What are the names of the three children the Professor watches through the window?
A5: The kids are April, Melanie, and Marshall (they were playing the game in the
professors backyard).

6A: He is carrying a toy octopus, he said he was called Security.

Chapter 3: Enter Melanieand Marshall
1. Why is Melanie hopeful as she knocks on Apartment 312?
A1: She wanted to meet April with the hope that they could turn friend easily, and invite
her to take lunch with her, her mother and little brother.
2. What is Melanies initial reaction when April opens the door?
A2: She saw April, and though that she was weird looking, because she was very
stravagant and also, wasnt correctly dressed (she also brought out the fact that Aprils
eyelashes where not adjusted correctly).
3. Why doesnt April think Melanie will like her?
A3: Because April has always had a trouble making friends, and was afraid that Melanie
would reject her or dont like her, reason why she dressed up like a stravagant adult, for
trying to make a good impression, following the example of her mother.

A4: She describes her mothers job like if she was a celebrity, working as an actress in
Hollywood.

A5: She likes to play her role-play games, cutting peoples pictures off from magazines,

A1: They went to the library almost every day, and played the paper-families game. They

received in there.

A2: Melanie thinks on what April is actually thinking about school, so she is afraid
that those things might happen to her.

A3: Se picked up Aprils fake eyelashes from her dresser; she walked there and

A1: She is called Elizabeth, and she is nine years old, she was the oldest between
her other three sisters.

A2: They first saw Elizabeth as annoying and weird, but then, they discover her
soft and kind personality, which leads them to change their perspective and
feelings towards Elizabeth, Thinking that she resembles to Nefertiti.

A3: Well, as we said in the last question, Elizabeths personality resembled to the
one of queen Nefertiti, and she also had interests in the topic of Egypt, reason
why Melanie and April decided to let her be in the game.

A1: She actually gets along well in the game and she is also fascinated with it.

A6: Sometimes they actually tried to play the game indoors, but they said it wasn
t the same, so instead, they used their time to make costumes so that they could

1. Under what circumstances are the kids in the neighborhood allowed

the neighborhood to prevent something to happen.

A2: She plans to visit the abandoned storage yard with Melanie; they are looking

A2: the costumes that toby and ken were some that hold the attention of all
people, this were also as good as the ones that the gang were wearing.

A3: they claim that they would see the shooting star at Egypt so they give them

Chapter 11: Egypt Invaded

A1: they think that they would have a sacrifice because they think that the gods
would be angry because they were out so many time.

to yell?
A2: he mumbles that the octopus at least would be safe with the gods.

A3: they decide to use blood to write letters to the gods, the blood is from the
players, but then they dont know how to take the blood so they make something
different with the octopus.

climbing the fence and enter to the game.

And Marshalls name was Marshamosis and his symbol was the double-crown of
Egypt.
