Original HP 78 Cartridge, Syringe & Filling Tube, Drill Bit, Ink

8ml for each colour, Tape.

Instructions
1. The filling holes are located on top of the cartridge and are
sealed with small-vented plugs. Push these plugs into the
cartridge using the drill bit (fig.1)
2. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with the
appropriate colour ink.
3. Insert the steel filling tube into the appropriate filler hole
(fig.2), following the details in the diagram above. Push steel
filling tube downwards into centre of the cartridge.
IMPORTANT: The cartridge contains a sponge and a slight
resistance may be felt.
4. SLOWLY inject ink. (fig.3)Blot the print heads with tissue to
remove any excess ink before continuing to refill next colour.
IMPORTANT: Clean syringe with water and dry before refilling
next colour.
5. Seal the filling holes with a piece of tape (fig.4)
6. Leave cartridge to stand overnight on a protective, nonabsorbent surface to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time
to fully saturate the sponge.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT LEAVE ON TISSUE.
7. Install the cartridge in the printer and run a cleaning cycle as
per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in
cartridge.
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.
