andhowpowerlessandweakIamwithoutmygovernment,protection,andeverythingIaminpowerof
.SoafterallthatthinkingIgetmyselftogetherIrushmyfamilyandfoodtothelowestpartoftheWhite
House,thatabsolutelynoone,notevenourmosttrustedsecretserviceinvestigators,knowsabout.

Iwasathomewatchingtelevisionwhenitgotinterruptedbythenews.Iwassurprisedandhe
saidtheweirdestthing.Zombiesarecoming.AtfirstIthoughtitwasajoke.AndthenIthoughtthisis
themostseriouspersononthenewsandhimtalkingaboutzombiesisnotallthatfunny.SoIwenttomy
mom.
Itoldmymomasquicklyaspossibleandshedidn'tbelievemesoItoldmyfatherwhowas
watchingTVsoheunderstood.Andherushedtomymomandtoldherthesamething,sowegotour
stuffandwenttothenearestairport,andwentasfarawayaspossible.Toaplacethatwethoughtwas
safefromzombiesandforawhileitwas,untilapersonliedabouttheinfectionandgoteveryonesick
butmyfamilybecausewealreadyhadanescapeplaninactionandthatalonewaswhatsavedus.Sowe
hadtomoveoncemore,andwewereintheclearforawhile,andhadagoodtimeasfarasstaying
alive.Allwaswell,butweknewthatitwouldnotbesafeforlong.Sowehadtomakeaplantostay
aliveatanymeansnecessaryevenifthatmeantweweretheonlysurvivors,thansobeit.Butwewere
goingtolivenomatterwhatsowestartedontheplanandithadtoworkitjusthadto.butsadlyitdidn't
andmyparentsgavetheirlivestosavemine.AndIregretthatdaythatdaythedaymyparentsdied.It

Iknewsomethingwaswrongwhenoneofmymanyfanstriedtobiteme.Securityimmediately
pushedhertothegroundwithforceandtherewasascratchonherbutnoblood.Iknewtheirwas
somethingwrongbutIdidn'twanttomakeabigsceneoutofit.BecauseIwantednoonetofreakout
soIwaitedtotellmysecurity.
TheysaidthattheywerealreadyawareoftheproblemathandsoIaskedwhywasInot
informedandtheysaiditwasnotimportantandIhadtohavemyspecialsecuritytomakesurethatIdo
nothavethediseaseandwon'thaveit.Byhaving24hourprotectionallthetimeandhavingnocontact
withanyone.Noonewillevercomeinoroutwithoutmysaysoandifthathappenstherewillbelotsof
problemsincludingmetodealwithandmytwelvegaugeshotgun.

IfeelthatthisisabigpartofmywritinggrowthbecauseitwasmyfirstessaythatIeverwrote.
ThatreallycountedforsomethingandeventhoughIediteditIbelievethatthere'sstillplentyofthings
thatIfeelIcanimproveon.ThisistheboostorstartingpointofmywritingIchangedthewayIthought
andwrote.
ThispieceofwritingwasforaprojectandpblIcreatedallofthisforthewritingportionofthe
project.Itwasformathastomakearelationastheworld'sresponseteamIwasapartoftherefugee
campandresponse.SoinsoIwroteaboutpeoplewhoknewnotofitandwerealone.Ithoughtof

Hearisthebigquestiondoyou,oryourchild,inmiddleschoolharetoomuchhomework.Inmy
opinion,studentshavetoomuchwork,becauseofthetimelimitsonthehomeworkandtheamountof
classthatwedon'tgettodoinclass.thenturnsintomorehomework.Thiscanalsobetiedinwithsome
ofthethebusyworkthatmightalsobehomework.Forthoseofyouwhodon'tknowwhatbusywork
itsunnecessaryand/orsomethingtokeepyouworkingonbutyoudonotbenefitfrom,Thiscanaffect
usinamajorwayaswecouldbedoingsomethingmuchmoreuseful,suchasspendingtimewithfamily
orlearningsomething

sincetheygothomeorallweek.Butthenbecausewewerestayingupallnightittransfersintoclass.

Idon'tlikemybrothermucheverunlessIneedsomethingIguessyoucouldsayIammeanorauser
butafterItellyoueverythingthathappenedyoucanmostdefinitelyagreethatIamintheright.Iwas
alwaysamusicalIgotintoguitarwhenIwasinlikeinkindergartenonedayIcametoschooljustto
playformyclassbutmybrotherbrokemystringonitandsomehowgotmeintroubleforit.
Wefoughtalotmoorethanyouwouldthinkwefightovereverythingandallthetime.Some
timeshewonandothertimesiwonwewereruthlessandneverheldbackitwasfunformeIlikedto
fightIlovejustbrutallyhurtingpeople.Itwasaneverydaythingformeeveninkindergartenthatwas

Policebrutalityandracismisnotathingofthepast,becausetothisdayitstillhappens,without
anyconsequences.Thishappensfrequentlyandcouldhappentoanyone,maybenottodayor
tomorrow,butthiscouldhappenatanytimeoranyday.Inallhonesty,controlandsafetyisalie,because
ifwecontrolpeople,wewouldnotdefythelaws.Ifweweresafe,TrayvonMartin,MichaelBrown,the
