ABOUT THE CONGRESS


The 1st NFJPIA National Leadership Congress aims, in general, to develop and/or
enhance the management and leadership knowledge, skills and attitudes of the JPIAns
through dynamic plenary sessions, interactive breakout sessions and enriched
discussions. It also envisions providing a venue for consultations among officials,
student leaders and teacher advisers for the various strategies and approaches used in
running their respective councils and/or chapters. In particular, the training aims to
prepare the JPIAns with the basic awareness and competencies of leadership
approaches which is crucial in making each JPIAn, and in totality the National
Federation of JPIA, a beacon and model of nation building in the grass roots, and in
influencing others to seize every opportunity and sustain initiatives to build a great
nation.
The objectives of the proposed 1st NFJPIA National Leadership Congress are:

Expose the delegates to various leadership concepts and models and to different
leaders and personalities in politics, business and/or the academe to give them a
broader outlook and example in their leadership role,
Help delegates understand the intricacies of leading and managing the
Federation,
Learn, understand and adopt relevant courses of action in response to the new,
evolving and emerging roles and functions of the Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants,
Formulate and devise a dynamic, feasible, doable and concrete action plan for
implementation of activities in the Federation, Regional Councils and Local
Chapters and;
Highlight the best practices in running the Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants
Prepare the delegates to the corporate world

ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES
Pre-Event Preparation
Pre Registration Requirement
To ensure your participation, please send in your Pre Registration Form to the National
President thru email president.nfjpia1516@gmail.com on or before January 10, 2015.

Event Proper
Arrival of Participants/Registration
Participants are expected to arrive on January 21, 2015. Upon arrival, please proceed to
the Domus Marie International Center for verification of payment, billeting assignments
and distribution of kits. Registration starts at 7:00 AM.
Pre-registered participants shall be given priority in the distribution of event collaterals.
Payment
Payment of the registration fee must be in cash. Check payment may be accepted in
exceptional cases provided checks are named for the account of NFJPIA and provided
that prior coordination has been made with the National Federation. No personal
checks shall be accepted.
Billeting and Accommodation
Accommodation shall start in the morning of Day 1and end in the morning of Day 3.
Charges for advance and extended accommodation shall be for the account of the
participants.
Meals
Meals shall start lunch of Day 1 and end breakfast of Day 3. Lost meal tickets will not be
replaced. Meal tickets however may be purchased.
Attire
All participants are required to bring a set of business attire and a formal wear.
Wearing of ID
IDs must be worn at all times for your security. No participant shall be allowed entry in
the plenary, mess and other sessions halls without ID.
Medical Needs
All participants are presumed in good health. The Medical Clinic is available 12 hours a
day. Expenses in regard to hospitalization shall be charged against personal funds.
Insurance
All participants are encouraged to procure their own travel insurance covering inclusive
dates of travel from point of departure to the venue and back either group or individual
before proceeding to the Leadership Congress.
