1. SCOPE
1.1.

IDENTIFICATION

This document describes the Long Lead Item List used for the ICAD New Jeddah Tower Project.
King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) is expanding its runway and passenger capability. To facilitate
this expansion, a new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), a new West Support Tower, a new passenger
terminal, transport facilities and support buildings will be constructed.
The new airport will initially support up to 30 million passengers per year, growing to 45 million in the first
few years to an eventual capacity of 80 million passengers per year.
The expansion creates a need to extend and add to the Air Traffic Management Systems in order to
provide safe and efficient air traffic control services as the volume of air traffic increases.
These systems will be fully integrated giving users access to timely, accurate and consistent information
as and when needed as well as the control functions necessary for reliable and effective management of
air operations.
This project foresees deployment for the AviBit systems shown in the following table at KAIA in Jeddah:

PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT

This document identifies those items that should be ordered before the provisioning conference and the
subsequent spares order, because of the extensive production lead time.

2. INTRODUCTION
The Long Lead Item List (LLIL) is provided to identify those recommended spare items that, because of
extensive production lead time, should be ordered before the provisioning conference and the
subsequent selected spares order. An item qualifies as "long lead" if its production lead time is more than
one year.

3. LONG LEAD ITEM LIST

None of the system parts used by AviBit are considered long lead items. All production lead times are
less than one year.
