Overview
Objective is to create awareness about and promote non-motorized transport, rights of pedestrians & lets
Every Sunday, proposal to cordon off for 3-4 hours in the morning, for citizen engagement in Commercial
Street.
Citizens use this stretch to for fun activities like Yoga & Zumba, play games and above all enjoy the streets.
Huge response has been seen from the people in the range of 8k to 10k every week at places like Delhi,
Mumbai, Ahmedabad etc.
Top aerial view of Commercial Street. The street will be completely vehicle free,
with kiosks (suggested) in between, for users to indulge in fun.
Event Mechanics
Timings: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Fun and engaging street games for kids and adults; fitness activity.
TG Profile: SEC A - young families, youth, kids, cycling enthusiast 40+
folks.
