Purpose of this document

The purpose of this document is to highlight significant changes that have been made to the course from
its previous version. This document is for Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) and Instructors to use
before delivering the class, or during preparation for teaching the class, so that they can understand
changes from the previous version of this course.
This is not an error log or a supplement to the course materials. This is purely to provide additional
context between the two versions of the course.

What you can expect in this document

This change log captures change descriptions from the previous version, in four main areas:
1. The design and outline
2. The lecture and lab content, including for the Student Handbook (Handbook), the Microsoft
PowerPoint deck (PPT), and the Lab Answer Keys (LAKs)
3. The labs, including the virtual environment and the virtual machines (VMs)
4. The Learning Product specification (spec)
The revision descriptions that this document includes provide a high-level description, not a detailed
one. This provides an overall understanding of topic changes and the reasoning behind these changes.

Change description for the labs

We updated the Windows 10 VMs to Threshold 2 Current Branch for Business. Beyond this, there were
no significant changes to the VM configuration in this version of the course. The VM updates did result
in some minor changes to lab steps, but no significant changes.
