MEDICALSTANDARDS:

EyeSight:Theminimumdistantvisionshouldbe6/6&6/9ofbotheyeswithoutcorrectioni.e.withoutwearingofglasses.
The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high color
vision.Theymustbeingoodmentalandbodilyhealthandfreefromanyphysicaldefectlikelytointerferewiththeefficient
performanceoftheduties.

ALLOTMENTOFVACANCIES:

60%ofvacancieswillbeallottedamongstStates/UT'sonthebasisofpopulationratio.
20%ofvacanciesintheBorderGuardingForcess(BGFs)(BSF,ITBP,SSB,AssamRifles)willbeallottedtoborderdistricts,
whichfallwithintheresponsibilityoftheForce.
In forces other than BGFs, 40% vacancies will be allotted to militancy affected areas i.e. J&K, North Eastern States and
naxsalaffectedareas.Thedistrict/areasaffectedbymilitancyshallbenotifiedbytheGovernmentfromtimetotime.
20%ofvacanciesinBGFswillbeallottedtoareasaffectedbymilitancyi.eJ&K,NorthEasternStatesandnaxalaffected
areas.Thedistricts/areasaffectedbymilitancyshallbenotifiedbytheGovernmentfromtimetotime.iv)Inforcesotherthan
BGFs,40%vacancieswillbeallottedtomilitancyaffectedareasi.e.J&K,NorthEasternStatesandnaxsalaffectedareas.
Thedistrict/areasaffectedbymilitancyshallbenotifiedbytheGovernmentfromtimetotime.
FordiversionofannualvacanciesfromoneStatetoanotherState,andalsofordiversionofvacanciesofnewraisingsfrom
oneStatetoanotherinthesamecategoryorfromonecategorytoanothercategory,approvalofMHAwillberequired.

RESERVATION:

TherewillbereservationsforSC/ST/OBC,ExServicemenandothercategoriesofpersonnelinaccordancewiththe
instructionsissuedbytheGovernmentfromtimetotime.Thereservedvacancieswillbecalculatedandrecruitmentmade
withreferencetotheallocationsmadetotheStates/UTsunderitemIIIabove.QuotaforSC/STforvariousStates/UTswillbe
